How to Use Our Riva Home Trade Portal – A Guide for Credit Customers

Whilst credit customers can purchase both pre-order and in-stock items, we've added a handy toggle on our collection pages below the filters that lets you view only in-stock products.

On the product page, you can quickly add ‘in stock’ items (highlighted in blue), which will be despatched immediately, or you can choose to delay shipment (highlighted in yellow).

By expanding the options, you’ll see additional despatch date choices. These show an approximate date when items will leave Riva Home, along with the quantity available.


 

If an item is out of stock and you’d like to know when it returns, you can sign up for email notifications. The sign-up box looks like this: 

Use the quantity select and click ‘Add to Order’ for it to move into your basket


 
Before you click ‘Add to order’ the box will be an orange state


 
Once added the quantity box will turn green


 
If you try to leave the page without adding your selected items to the basket, an alert will appear to remind you that not everything has been added.


 

You can access product information such as SKU, EAN/Barcode, and SRP by clicking the i icon.

Further product information required for your EPOS system can be found in our data files within the Resources page.

To help you add complementary products from the same range, scroll down the product page until you see ‘Also in this range’. From there, you can easily add items directly to your basket.

For example, on a duvet cover set page, matching pillowcases and fitted sheets will appear below.


On our fabric product pages, you can purchase rolls ranging from 1m to 40m. 

Or choose a cut length — with a minimum of 1m, increasing in 0.1m increments. 

We’d always recommend checking roll options, as you may find a roll length similar to your required cut length at a lower cost.

As a credit customer, you’ll also have the option to preorder a roll or cut length. These items won’t be available for immediate despatch; instead, they will be sent once the stock arrives at Riva Home. An estimated despatch date will be shown.

On the cart page, all in stock items will be grouped together and despatched immediately (usually shown as ‘Delivery #1’), with a few exceptions such as wide width print to order wallpaper and 2 person delivery items. Full details can be found on our shipping page.

Any pre ordered or back dated items will be grouped by calendar month and shipped when the final item for that month comes into stock, forming the next delivery group (e.g., ‘Delivery #2’).

For example, if Item 1 is due on the 3rd of the month and Item 2 is due on the 10th of the same month, both will be shipped together from the 10th.

If there are no in stock items, Delivery #1 will be the earliest grouped month in your cart.

If you’d like to add your own customer order reference (e.g., a PO number), simply use the Order Reference box above the Check Out button.

 

Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll be able to view the details and track its progress in My Account after one hour. To learn more about how to use My Account, see our guide.
